This project focused on the complete structural and aerodynamic design of a quadcopter. The electronic components—including motors, ESCs, batteries, and the flight controller—were selected based on the target payload and performance requirements. The airframe was custom-designed in SolidWorks to optimize the weight-to-strength ratio while accommodating all onboard systems.
Finite Element Analysis (FEA) was conducted to verify the structural integrity of the frame under expected loads. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations were also performed in ANSYS to evaluate airflow behavior and ensure aerodynamic efficiency.
