This project focused on designing and controlling a Twin Rotor Aerodynamic System (TRAS) with two degrees of freedom—pitch and yaw. The system was built using Arduino Mega 2560, interfaced with encoders and an MPU 6050 IMU via Arduino-Simulink integration.
A PID controller was implemented and tuned to ensure accurate and timely tracking of desired angles. Additionally, a Kalman filter was developed in Simulink to estimate the system states and improve robustness against sensor noise and disturbances.
