Developed a 6DOF simulation model of an interceptor surface-to-air missile (SAM) in Simulink, using aerodynamic data derived from CFD analysis. The system included roll, pitch, and yaw hold autopilots with tuned PID controllers and corresponding dampers for enhanced stability.
To implement Proportional Navigation (PN) guidance in the 6DOF environment, pitch and yaw channels were decoupled to generate precise control commands under dynamic flight conditions.
